Lance Bass Pokes Fun At Former Bandmate Justin Timberlake In New Video

Lance Bass kicked off a brand new month by poking fun at former *NSYNC bandmate, Justin Timberlake in a video shared to Instagram on Tuesday (April 30). The standout is clearly no stranger to the "It's Gonna Be Me" meme of Timberlake that circumnavigates the internet every spring, bearing the title of the band's 2000 hit single.

For those unfamiliar with the joke, when Timberlake sings the lyrics, "it's gonna be me," it sounds like he's saying "it's gonna be MAY." So, every year when May comes around, the internet takes full advantage of the lyric by pairing it with concert footage or a photo of the artist's face in anticipation of the month.

This year, Bass decided to join in on the trend and recorded a funny video featuring his husband, Michael Turchin, and a very familiar-looking "hair style."

The video opens with Bass gifting Turchin a note as he sits down to eat a bowl of Ramen noodles. The note in question reads: "Roses are red, April is Grey. But when you wake up tomorrow..."

The camera quickly pans to the "Bye Bye Bye" star who has since put the Ramen noodles on his head to resemble Timberlake's unforgettable early 2000's hairstyle as he sings, "It's gonna be me." Turchin notices that his Ramen is gone as the video comes to a close and May officially begins!

Bass and Timberlake took the stage together last month for a surprise show with Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and JC Chasez, standing out as the first *NSYNC performance since 2013. Read about the performance at: WATCH: *NSYNC Unexpectedly Reunite For First Performance In Over A Decade!
