Did Tyler The Creator Just Come Out On His New Album?

Tyler the Creator's forthcoming album, Scum F**k Flower Boy, leaked onto the blogosphere over the weekend and it appears to hold a rather shocking (or maybe it's not so shocking) confession about the rapper's sexuality.

On the 14-track collection, which will officially see the light of day on July 21, the rapper makes references to being gay or bisexual on two separate tracks. While "I Ain't Got Time!" hears the Odd Future MC spitting blunt bars like "Next line will have 'em like 'Whoa'/ I been kissing white boys since 2004," the Estelle-assisted "Garden Shed" is all about concealing sexuality.

"All my friends lost/ They couldn't read the signs/ I didn't wanna talk and tell 'em my location/ And they ain't wanna walk," he raps on the self-produced cut. "Truth is, since a youth kid, thought it was a phase/Thought it'd be like the Frank; poof, gone/ But, it's still goin' on."

As Genius points out, Tyler uses the whole garden shed phrase as the representation for a hiding place. Nonetheless, even if Tyler is indeed taking the opportunity to come out of the closet, it wouldn't be the first time he's spoken out about his sexuality. After all, he did "jokingly" come out once before.
